Header main menu navigation

Main menu items and sub items

The image is the screenshot of the main menu navigation in our demo store. We will use it to describe the relation of main menu navigation and mega menu in the header section in the theme.

Menu item

The main menu navigation will be displayed on the header section.

For example, there 5 menu items in the main menu navigation. They will be shown in the header navigation, as the below image.

Sub menu item

A sub-menu is a derivative menu that is reliant on a top-level menu in a graphical user interface system. In the theme, the sub menu items will be display as a dropdown menu.

You can display the sub menu items as a mega menu. Mega menu is a powerful feature in the theme. The next article will describe how to config mega menu.
